Many of you have positively responded to the Sci-Fi Crossover Comic, so I wanted to offer an update on it. I noted with the first page that the Enterprise model came from MadMan1701 of madshipyard.com. I've been in contact with him recently and he's agreed to build a few more 3D models for me for use with the comic. That way, there will be come consistency in the quality of the ship models I'm using and I'll be able to use some close-up shots where I currently can't with the low-poly models I have. It's been a while since I added any artwork to my page. I've been kept busy with illustrations for a small publishing company. Recently, with my free time, I've gotten back into comic booking, and am very excited to get back into that work.
After attending Nashville ComicCon last October, I have had the opportunity to correspond with Freddie E. Williams, II, who has graciously critiqued some of my work and given me pointers to consider. I'm working toward a second submission to him, when hopefully, I'll meet muster and have a shot at a professional career. We'll see how that works out.
